  • With Papua New Guinea ranked 160 out of 161 countries on the United Nations Development Programme's Gender Inequality Index (2021) We are committed to help provide a better future for the girls and women of PNG.
  • Through our support, Days for Girls International have been able to supply menstrual supplies to hundreds of girls and women in PNG.
  • Days for Girls International works to eliminate the stigma and limitations related to menstruation so that women can experience improved health, education, and livelihoods.
  • Our team members in PNG have also volunteered at the Days for Girls events, see more on our Volunteering page.

  • We have been supporting Big Umbrella across several years to help them provide a meal and supplies to those struggling with food insecurity in Melbourne's CBD
  • Our team members volunteer to help with prepare the range of meals that are served that are made from donated food and Big Umbrella's vegetable garden and also assist in serving the meals to those that are in need.

Saga Tahiti (French Polynesia)

Educating and inspiring French Polynesia's disadvantaged youth.

  • SAGA, is a program that gives disadvantaged children an opportunity to go on a multi week ‘saga’ providing them with an enriched experience involving cultural learning, sport activities and the spirit of camaraderie and teamwork.
  • In 2024, 720 children participated in touring the island Bora Bora, French Polynesia.

Global Group Initiatives

- Protecting our staff: CMA CGM Group are committed to creating a safe work environment for all its staff members, reducing risk and accidents throughout all facilities.
- Promoting education and training: through training programs on CMA CGM Academy, the new internal communication program My Sociabble to encourage professional growth and Tangram, the Group's new training center to be opened early 2024.
- Supporting diversity and inclusion: in 2023, the "WE - Women Empowerment" program was launched to accelerate the professional development of women within the Group.
- Supporting local communities: all staff members globally are given the opportunity to volunteer to support local communities and the environment.
