About the Program

ANL has played a major role in working with University Industry Based Learning programs and welcoming students into the organisation. ANL believes in nurturing a student’s skills and knowledge within the industry, therefore, welcomes individuals every year to gain first-hand experience.

ANL offers an exciting and diverse range of career opportunities throughout the business; with the student programs include: Co-Operative Education (Co-Op) Program, Graduate Program and Rotation Graduate program.

The Co-Op and Graduates programs provide individuals with a range of benefits including industry-specific training, professional development, and networking opportunities. This allows individuals to consolidate their learning and put it into practice in a real employment situation.

Other benefits available to the Co-Op students & Graduates include: paid study leave, access to Social Club events, opportunity to work in projects across the business, excellent in-house training programs tailored towards developing young professionals and opportunities to be mentored by leaders within the industry.

Breakfast with the CEO

As part of the onboarding into their new roles, the Co-Ops and Graduates receive an invitation to join ANL’s Chief Executive Officer, Xavier Eiglier for breakfast. The team have an opportunity to learn about ANL’s values, goals, achievements and how The Co-Ops & Graduates’ involvement will contribute to ANL’s future growth. The breakfast is a great way to be introduced to Xavier Eiglier and for the Co-Ops & Graduates to ask their burning questions.

Recruitment for 2020

Applications will open in August 2019 with the successful applicants commencing in January 2020. Applicants will be required to submit the following information as part of their application: complete online application form, current CV and cover letter, current academic transcript and details of two references.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to take part in panel interviews, personality profile analysis and background checks prior to being offered a position.

ANL is excited to launch a range of positions available for students in 2020. The following positions are relevant for students from all disciplines that are looking to join an industry leader and apply what they have learnt during their degree.

Co-Op Positions

These positions are for students looking to complete a 12-month work placement as part of their degree. Positions include: Trade Analysis x 2, Operations & Logistics x2, Sales (Key Accounts) and Finance.

Graduate Positions

These positions are a 12-month full-time employment opportunity for students who have completed their degree and are looking to gain experience. Roles available for 2020 are: Trade Analysis, Operations & Logistics x2, Customer Service, Sales, Finance, Audit and IT.

2-Year Rotating Graduate Positions

ANL will also offer two unique 24-month rotational positions to top candidates looking to fast-track their shipping career. Successful candidates will spend six months working in each of the following departments: Sales/Customer Service, Operations & Logistics, Line Marketing and Trade Teams.
