BAF Review New Zealand and Australia to Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands
Sofrana ANL wish to advise that effective 1 July 2021 the BAF payable on shipments from New Zealand and Australia to Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands will be adjusted in line with fuel price changes over the previous quarter.
Fuel price changes show that an increase of US$38 per TEU is required from 1 July 2021 on this trade lane.
The current BAF will be adjusted as follows.
Dry cargo: Increases from US$795 per TEU to US$833 per TEU
Reefer Cargo: Increases from US$871 per TEU to US$909 per TEU
Breakbulk Cargo: Increases from US$39.75 per RT to US$41.65 per RT
The new BAF’s will be applied for all shipments loading on or after 1 July 2021.
