New Trans-Tasman Service
ANL is pleased to announce that effective February 2015 we will be mounting a new dedicated three vessel service linking major east coast Australia ports and both the New Zealand North and South islands. The new service will operate under ANL’s well known “TRANZTAS” branding and will be a major part of ourmultiple service options across the Tasman.
In announcing the new service today, ANL’s ManagingDirector John Lines commented, “ANL is committed to offering our customers a quality service across the Tasman and our new service demonstrates that commitment. The bilateral trade between Australia and New Zealand is a major part of the broader economy of both countries and is too important to be left to crossover vessels plying the Tasman as partof a bigger route. The Tasman is really ANL’s backyard; we know it well and work hard to provide a range of services so the trade can grow. We have a substantial footprint in both countries and our extensive office network is geared around providing our customers the best possible service.”
ANL’s services across the Tasman linking Australia and New Zealand are a core part of our business. The new service is the result of talking with our customers and the feedback was that they wanted a dedicated trans-Tasman option. We look forward to their support of our new service which will be the sole remaining weeklydedicated one across the Tasman. We are committed to offering our customers the best possible trans-Tasman services and the new Tranztas fits well with our other two weekly and two fortnightly services across the Tasman.
“We care about our customers, we want their businesses to grow and prosper. ANL will continue to work hard and do all we can to make that happen. We welcome the challenges our new service may bring, but are firmly of the view it is the right way to go, the right thing to do for the trade and our customers,” John Lines went on to say.
The new Tranztas service will call Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Lyttelton, Nelson, Wellington, Tauranga, Sydney on a fixed day weekly basis commencing February 2015.
