Healthy At Home: Supporting Team Members With Virtual Fitness Classes
COVID-19 restrictions have transformed our homes to become places of work, education, recreational activity and more. The cross functional ERT team; set up to manage the evolving response to working through a time of pandemic, supported staff health, physical activity and engagement by implementing a number of virtual fitness classes.
The concept and trainers are familiar to both ANL and CMA CGM agency team members who ordinarily work out of a Melbourne office, but also managed to attract a number of staff from interstate offices.
General Manager of Human Resources Pascale Toussat says “Being healthy at home has been of key focus for our teams during this unprecedented time. We realise that physical health activity is not only beneficial for the body but is crucial for the mind. Whether it be as an outlet, as a way for our teams to connect, as a way to maintain their full potential or to socially engage, our staff wellbeing is paramount and we will continue to make this our utmost top priority, particularly during these circumstances.”
Since the beginning of the first lockdown in Australia in March 2020, the PUSH! Program has been a huge success, and we thank the committed instructors who continue to deliver a high-quality and highly enjoyable program. With the commencement of Stage 4 restrictions over the next six weeks in Melbourne, we will also look to re-launch this program to further support our teams.
