Chennai Port / Bolt Seal Restriction

 

 

 

ANL would like to remind all shippers of the Indian Customs ruling that for any cargo that is shipped through to Chennai that a bolt seal is affixed to the container. Strip seals are not permitted by Chennai Customs which consequently can lead to potential penalties and  or fines.

 

In light of this can you please adhere to this requirement and ensure that the correct bolt seal is declared to us for B/l purposes.
