NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS

PROCESSES OF ANL eIDO

ANL introduced the new eIDO effective from Monday 9th February 2009 to comply with the Industry mandatory eIDO protocols requiring PIN’s to effect delivery of Import containers.

ANL’s eIDO information sent to customers uses current PDF format with pin no's display in the top right hand corner in the “shipping company reference number box”. The PDF will have all information for the consignee and their transportation company to assist with your business needs including place of empty returns.

Only one email can be sent by ANL.  The standard ANL Import EDO procedure applies. Consignee / Appointed carrier requests eIDO through emailing import@anl.com.au for your nominated preference.  Each eIDO will have its own unique PIN No.  Requesting copies of any eIDO, once issued will incur a cost to the account of the cargo and will result in the cancellation of the existing PIN and issuance of a new PIN for the container’s in question.

Terminals receive eIDO's - Pin # through EDI interface.  PIN # is for terminal clearance only. eIDO will have the place of empty return and ANL will be advising depots the containers to be accepted.

Consignee / Appointed carrier should not go to the terminal without confirmation from 1-stop which clearly advices the PIN No.

  • Consignee / Appointed carrier can book time slots online with 1-Stop where you can check pin number validation online before going to the terminal.  If pin numbers do not validate you can re-check with ANL documentation department. This way our customer can avoid futile trip expenditure

NOTE: There is confusion when 1/I & O/0 are used when validating pins.

Please ensure you decipher which is correct – if the pin is not accepted the truck will be turned away.
